Since the dawn of mechanisation, technological advances have significantly reduced the journey times of long-distance trips, as well as the everyday travel times of people getting around the contemporary city. In turn, the way human beings relate with space has radically changed. For this piece, I invented an algorithm for transforming coordinates, based on a trip around Madrid’s circular bus line. I then created a quasi-spherical polyhedron that connected the images of the places I physically passed through with other places that I explored, virtually, at each of the stops on the way.
